2/12/14 | CONSECRATING OUR PHYSICAL BODIES – Brother Ransome | #ROR … We Bless The Day

Man is a Spirit, he has a soul and he lives in a body. The body was not born again at new birth, it was only the Spirit and the body can never be born again. The only permitted time is at the second appearing of Jesus, when we shall all be changed [the dead in Christ first and those alive then], this mortal body will put on immortality and corruptible bodies will put up in corruption.

But before we experience this ultimate glorification and transition, we must understand how to balance our humanity with our spirituality, how the Spirit works in a physical body and that constantly allowing the body to experience corruption, can negate or alter the workings of the regenerated spirit man within.

The Holy Spirit resides in you; His gifts and graces are expressed by the actions of your body via the sense organs. These organs must be trained and subjected to function in accordance to glorify the giver of these gifts, so we can bear much fruits and produce for his intended desire.

1 Corinthians 6:20 … “For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your BODY, and in your spirit, which are God’s. You do not own your life, it has been purchased at new birth, and you are not allowed to do just whatever you like with your body. You cannot just SAY anything or WATCH what you like. You cannot TOUCH or THINK anyhow again. Your mouth, eyes, hands, mind etc is God’s property now. Glory to God!

Your whole body and these sense organs have been bought. Giving and yielding your body to the Lord often is one of the greatest love – offerings He cherishes. The Word of God helps you to present and condition your physical body in line with His will.

In the light of Romans 12:2 … The mind is the door to the body, it disseminates information, and on several occasions it dictates to the body to go contrary. This is why continuous mind renewal is compulsory. The Spirit was born again once, the body cannot be born again at all, but the mind which is the door to the Spirit and the body must experience a constant refreshing by the Word.

A mind not subjected to renewal will keep failing and rising, unstable and wanting, lacking and unsatisfied, such individual is easily offended in many things, blaming others for his misfortunes. Temptation is never a sign of weakness. Temptation is not sin at all, yielding your body and falling into it becomes one.

The devil hates you and wants to fill your heart will guilt anytime you lose control over your body so that he can make you feel unworthy, condemned and inferior before the Father. But we are not ignorant of his schemes. He has lost his power on the Cross.

Frequently subjecting yourself to the Lordship of the Word, spending quality time in prayer to mortify the deeds of the flesh and becoming conscious of who you are in Christ Jesus will always help you gain dominance over the activities of the senses and mastery over the operations of the evil one – the accuser.

I have several biblical references and revelation insights that will help you gain victory over your body and get it prepared always for the Lord’s recovery. [Send us an email now on – br@BrotherRansome.com or info@RealmsOfRhema.com ]
