13/02/2015 | LOVING WITHOUT GETTING BORED – Brother Ransome | #ROR Daily Devotional … We Bless The Day!

I have recommended Gary Chapman’s amazing book titled “5 LANGUAGES OF LOVE” several times for partners in marriage or relationship. It is one of the most remarkable masterpieces showing and teaching how spouses should communicate with themselves often and in variety of forms. I have read and have been inspired by the book and it is worth reading every moment there is.

The best relationship is between two believers (2 Corinthians 6:14) who can produce godly offspring (Malachi 2:13–15). The first requirement to making your relationship work is to start out by loving yourself. The way you accept yourself shows how your partner accepts you, you must endorse yourself first before anybody will. There is always a man for every woman and vice versa. Accepting the basis of life and the basis of a balanced personality is compulsory. If you have a troubled relationship you should look, first of all, to yourself, this is often where the trouble lies.

These three words “I LOVE YOU” are still the most powerful words in relationship and marriage. Few have not yet understood the power of saying “I love you” over and over again. It sparks something within – and there’s a river of joy that wells up within the soul. Your partner needs you to say this all the time, don’t say “You know I love you” … she knows that quite well, learn the art of affirming those words consistently without showing any sign for the need of it.

Get to know your partner daily, you can never stop exploring the power and the attitude of a woman, a woman evolves day in and day out. Don’t live in the past, but Count the blessings you have together, the things you have achieved together, all that you are and have as a couple or as partners in a relationship. Pay attention to your partner, and especially what makes her happy should make you happy as well.

It is absolutely vital that women should understand this. Many of the annoying habits that women have are merely attempts to get a man’s attention. I personally don’t believe a woman should always seek her man’s attention, it shouldn’t be. What is yours is yours. We are not some bunch of unbelievers who fight to keep their men. When wrong stuffs happen, I advise you to resort into prayers or seek guidance. In this case, the violent does not take it by force, but favour is obtained.

Men are focused and directed and can easily lose themselves in what they are doing. This is one of the qualities that many women love in their men, but not to the exclusion of them. A man also needs to find a balance that shows how important his woman is without losing his passion for his mission and still become responsible in his relationship.

Learn to forgive even beforehand, say sorry even when you are the offended. This will not only bring peace and joy, but will display a huge sense of maturity. A relationship should be healthy, caring, loving, kind, and positive. It should make your life better and also make you a better person. GRACE TO YOUR HEART!

*** PRAYER FOR THE DAY – Dear Father, thank you for allowing your Word gain pre – eminence in me, I yield myself to becoming the best I can in my relationship and I become a role model to others in Jesus Name, Amen.

*** CONFESSION OF THE DAY – I do things right today, I have a good and right attitude towards all things, I do not find fault but I rather see the good things in my partner. I make a commitment for a lifestyle that will bring glory and honour to God today.

***QUOTES OF THE DAY –

[On Love] I don’t want to be married just to be married. I can’t think of anything lonelier than spending the rest of my life with someone I can’t talk to, or worse, someone I can’t be silent with.

[On Life] – Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value.

[On Success/Business] – Be patient with yourself. Self-growth is tender; it’s holy ground. There’s no greater investment
