12/03/2015 | SATISFACTION IN ALL THINGS – Brother Ransome | ROR Daily Devotional … We Bless The Day!

Godliness with contentment is great gain. Those who know they have enough are truly wealthy. What you have and what you are getting now is enough. Where you are is perfect because it is exactly where you need to be. Perfection is not something that you have to wait for until one day when it comes. Perfection exist in every moment. It is because every step of the way is part of the process. The process does not exist without the steps. Every step is perfection itself and when you are in it, you are perfect.

God is unlimited and infinite. When you know that you are God’s beloved, you will know that your true nature is unlimited and infinite. We only experience limitation and lack when we separate ourselves from the true source. A branch that is cut off from the vine loses its source of supply and therefore it withers and dies. Since the vine is abundant and unlimited, all we have to do is to go with the flow and we will experience the joy of being provided in every moment and transcending limitations that we face.

The universe operates all things in such perfect precision and harmony that you will only be presented with a situation at the right time and when you are ready for it. Everything occurs as part of God’plan. You will always b e provided with the resources you need now or later. When you know the divine power that is always taking care of you and also at work in you, and have the awareness of all things happening in divine order and divine timing, you will be perfectly contented in every moment. Glory to God!

Philippians 4 : 11 [NIV] … “I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.”  Being grateful is healthy for you. Whatever you already have- be it health, loved ones, a good career, interests, hobbies, a car, clothes, a home, great views, talents, etc., make the most of it and be grateful for it. We take it all for granted, and some people would kill for what we have.

Much of our own unhappiness stems from the fact that we focus on the negatives of our life more than the positives. Having a confident attitude will help you to focus on your strengths. Try walking away from a situation and dwell with contentment on what went right, instead of what went wrong or what could have gone better.

Matthew 6: 32 – 33 … “For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”. “Be content with such things as you have” means as believers such should be our trust and confidence in God that we should be satisfied with our condition regardless of our circumstances. For we know assuredly that if we are faithful God will cause all things to work together for our good. GRACE TO YOUR HEART!

[On Life] – The best preparation for good works tomorrow is to do good work today.
