There have been many times you have felt like quitting because it seemed like your faith is not working. Each time you believe God for a financial miracle, healing or the salvation of a family member it looked as if it will take forever for your requests to be answered.
You have confessed God’s Word many times, spoken in tongues, sowed several seeds but all not no avail and as times go by your spiritual energy begins to worn out and the inner strength you had at the initial stage of your faith ordeal began to wane and now you beginning to develop a wavering attitude and suspicion that nothing would ever happen.
Faith is important, but it won’t function without hope. Hope is the blueprint of faith, when hope is lost; faith loses its ability and aim because “Faith is the substance of things hope for” – Hebrews 11: 1. Believers don’t pay much attention to the subject of hope, but it is that thing that anchors the soul and stabilizes it to remain strong and steadfast till the day of delivery of God’s blessing
Many times we confess and act on God’s Word out of order, we always think we are using our faith but something else is happening on the inside, it is simply out of desperation. We need to come to a place of expectations and not desperation – that’s the big difference. Having the ability to wait on God without pulling out is a major key to experiencing the life that wins.
It is the Word of God and the Spirit of the Word that builds faith in us and rekindles a lively hope in us leading us into golden expectations for whatever we believe God for. The Word cannot fail and does not have the capacity for falsehood. Our hope and expectations must be extra – ordinary. Hope is beyond wishing or wanting, it is based on the covenant of the Word of God and anointing that is back of it.
When your hope is alive, there will be unfathomable expectation erupting from within you that everything God has promised will be fulfilled in due time. When divine hope is evident in you, it will lock up in the Word of God and anchors your soul such that you wouldn’t get distracted. Keep your hope alive in the Word, walk in golden expectations, and get rid of desperation. You will fulfil destiny and it will end up in glory and praise. GRACE TO YOUR HEART!!!
