31/12/2014 | FINISHING STRONG WITH GRATITUDE – Brother Ransome | #ROR Daily Devotionals … We Bless The Day!

You will never have the opportunity to see today again or live in this year anymore, it all ends today and so you eagerly look forward to another. But it is your responsibility to live grateful, showing gratitude is a simple sign that you haven’t lost your memory.

Some people pay big fortune to breathe daily, but God gives it to you free of charge, you have the freedom to express the best of yourself and nobody is asking you for a token or a fee. The freedom and sound health you have may be so common to you, but it is someone else’s miracle.

Everything you do well in gratitude would return to you in large magnitude. Before you ask God for anything new, thank him for everything old. But you should remember that everything God did for you in the past, He did it in different ways and so should your gratitude be.

Thank God for what He did, but not necessarily how He did it, because you cannot fathom or comprehend the “how” of God, and how He did it yesterday, He may never do it that way today. But your gratitude on the many things He did in the past can provide a blueprint for a present or future miracle.

Get rid of complaints or excuses on what has been left undone, it is a time to trace memory lane and show a deep sense of gratitude for the days behind and set a new course to bless the days ahead. Fill your heart with more thanksgiving rather than requests. Express gratitude throughout in your prayers and thoughts both in private and public places.

Finish strong with a remarkable sense and mode of worship, singing praises to His name, don’t worry about anyone’s opinion of your musical abilities, it is not about your performance, but about your gratitude and adoration to your loving Father. God is not moved whether you sing off – keys or you embellish your voice with sonorous soprano or alto, all He needs is a heart of worship.

Jesus healed ten lepers, only one of them came back to show gratitude. Solomon sacrificed the best of his substance and God gave him what money could not buy in return [1 Chronicles 29: 21 – 26]. This is also a moment in your life to give generously and cheerfully, not only your substances, but your total self, time and attention. As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them.

Reflect on your present blessing not on your past misfortunes, acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the bedrock for all abundance. When you’re thankful for what you have already, you will end up having more. Forget about 2014, for 2014 has already forgotten you, open your heart to the precious gift of today and what lies ahead.

[On Love] – Love is a force more formidable than any other. It is invisible, yet powerful enough to transform in a moment and offer more joy than any material possession.

[On Life] – A mind once stretched by a new idea never returns back to its original dimensions.

[On Success/Business] – When you are out of quality, you are out of business.
