Fellowship with God is at the heart of a genuine Christian experience. It is the root of all spiritual walk. When we come to his presence, there is an intimate exchange; of life, words, ideas and even an unforgettable experience. We are partaking of the body and blood of Jesus. This is having communion.
Fellowship is an integral part of Christian worship. It causes us to remember our Lord’s death and resurrection and to look for His glorious return in the future. Communion is not always about a fellowship meal that is physical, but a holy and eternal reality where our hearts are ever ready and willing to receive what He wants for our lives.
Our fellowship with each other is based on our fellowship with Jesus Christ. 1John 1:6-7 says … “If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
The importance of our true fellowship is that it reinforces these things in our mind and helps us to focus on Christ and His desires and goals for us. As iron sharpens iron, in true Christian fellowship Christians sharpen one another’s faith and stir one another to exercise that faith in love and good works, all to God’s glory.
We need to come to a place of repentance and consecration, a place where the Holy Spirit constantly fills our heart and purifies it, a place to total experience and encounter of divine realities, and not doctrines. For it is impossible to be filled with the Spirit of God and not know it. In true communion, if there is any hindrance to your growth, He will reveal it to you if you are sincere.
Remember God will not force himself on anyone, unless in a rare situation where a will MUST be fulfilled. Yield yourself now totally and allow yourself to be caught up as you spend quality time with God. GRACE TO YOUR HEART!

***QUOTES OF THE DAY –
[On Love] – Honesty is a very expensive gift; don’t expect it from cheap people.
[On Life] – It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you’ll do things differently.
[On Success/Business] – The difference between successful people and really successful people is that really successful people say no to almost everything.
