18/03/2015 | SMALL BUT MIGHTY – Brother Ransome | ROR Daily Devotional … We Bless The Day!

The Bible person who had the greatest amount of physical strength, who was one of God’s men, was Samson. He could fight huge numbers of men. And there are men today who work out and develop big muscles. In fact some of them even take steroids; things they should not do to their body and they end up ruining their bodies because they are trying to be mighty in their physical body.

1 Samuel 16 : 7 … “But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.”  This passage is referring to the election of David over Saul, though small, but stronger and mighty. There is a huge difference between physical strength and the one that lies on the inside. David was small yet capable of defeating the giants. From a small seed, a mighty tree can grow, and from a tree, there can be a forest. Hallelujah!

Winners have the ability to manufacture their own success; they are strong against any opposition and awful circumstances. They may look fragile and frail in the body, but something lies on the inside which no man can crush. There is an inner make up on the inside and the effrontery to forge ahead in life’s daily journey. I really want to submit to you that, there something that confidence in the promises revealed and available in the scriptures does. The word of God should stir us, inspire and set us on course to take might steps

Don’t be afraid to provoke the status quo.  Maybe some of your ideas are even crazy.  But crazy ideas are what shake the world.  Crazy ideas make revolutions and transformation.  So don’t be afraid to be different, and don’t be afraid to break traditions, but be sure your decisions and actions are consistent with the Word of God.

Sure, some people will be frustrated and opposed to your champion attitude and winning mentality. Some people might even criticize and want to stop you.  It will take time for them to embrace your ideas, don’t quit until you win, you’re showing them a new way of thinking and you will soon realize that the world is a better place because of you.

Plant a seed in their heads and opening their minds – and you will be opening your own mind as well.  The minute you understand that, God’s word will program your life in the pattern you have been made and fashioned to live and you will fulfil your destiny come what may. Shake off the erroneous idea of a mediocre and let the strong and the mighty one arise from within you. Change the world, improve it, and truly live it, but most importantly, let Christ live it through you and let Him be expressed, for this is the ultimate of Glorification. GRACE TO YOUR HEART!
